The hoof plays a crucial role in the overall health of the body, as it serves as the foundation that supports the entire structure. Any imbalances or dysfunctions in the hoof can lead to compensatory issues throughout the body, affecting posture, gait, and the health of the joints and soft tissues.
This is why I offer integrative bodywork + hoofcare sessions
As a hoof care provider and equine bodyworker, I strive to restore the health and balance of the body through synergistically combining barefoot trimming services with gentle, holistic bodywork techniques. My approach also considers a whole horse outlook, encompassing nutrition, saddle fit, exercise routine, and more.
Integrative Bodywork + Hoofcare Sessions
These equine-guided sessions allow for an integrative trimming experience. Your horse will receive bodywork as needed throughout their trim, supporting their comfort and balance, and allowing time to process.​

These sessions are for you if your horse struggles with standing for the farrier, needs frequent breaks, or has previous farrier trauma and requires a patient and positive approach.

This unique approach offers your horse the opportunity to fully attune to their trimming experience and integrate the changes made to their feet with the rest of their body, whilst co-creating each session to receive the support most aligned for them that day.

All hoofcare services must be scheduled within a maximum 5-week trim cycle.

Session fee - $135 + HST & Travel
*Travel fee calculated at a rate of $0.72/km from home farm in Stouffville, ON. Travel fee waived for groups of 3 or more horses at the same facility. Wellness Plans offer further discounts on session fees and travel.
